Micanopy 42nd Fall Festival 2016

The 42nd Micanopy Fall Festival is host to more than 200 artists and food vendors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Fourteen nonprofit organizations from the town organize the event, including the Micanopy Historical Society, Micanopy United Methodist Church and Friends of the Micanopy Library.

Vendors from across the country will showcase their colorful fine art and crafts in this beloved and bucolic town. Entertainment is scheduled throughout the festival on both days and will feature acts ranging from the Lost Safari Drummers (9 a.m. Saturday) and the 7th Street Band (noon Saturday) to the Swamp Rooters (9 a.m. Sunday), the Helen Blazes Band (11 a.m. Sunday) and Wound Tight (1:30 p.m. Sunday).
