Things to Do Gainesville: See a show at the Hippodrome Theater

December 13th, 2010 · No Comments

The Hippodrome Theater in Gainesville is hosting A Christmas Carol and This Wonderful Life this weekend.  A Christmas Carol is the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his visits from the ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future.  You will enjoy this retelling of Charles Dickens’ tale, whose message is still as important today as it was then.

Take a trip to Bedford Falls for a look into the life of George Bailey in This Wonderful Life.  This will be a tour de force production of Frank Capra’s Hollywood classic, with one actor portraying 32 characters.

Both shows will be performed on Saturday December 18th.  These two shows have something for everyone in your family so start a new tradition this holiday season in Gainesville at the Hippodrome Theater
