Hello! We are planning a series of 5 French wine classes the first week in June. They will take place every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9pm. The first class will be on the 7th. The cost for the 5 classes $100 ($20 a class) or if you just want to take one class $30.

RSVP required, we have very limited walk in space: Please contact Maude (352) 222-1348

Here are some potential themes: “Bored of Bordeaux?”: We will compare the famous “Bordelais” grape varieties. The idea is to give alternatives to the expensive Bordeaux wines. “A Rose by any other name”: The Rose Wines of France: Rose de Provence, Cote du Rhone (AOC Tavel), Loire (AOC Rose d’Anjou), Burgundy (AOC Bourgogne Rose), Bordeaux (AOC Bordeaux Rose) “Who is the KingPin”: Drinking the different Pinot Noir of France: Loire, Alsace, Languedoc, Burgundy, etc. “Where is the “White Knight”? : Comparing Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay “White Autrement”: Drinking the other whites grapes of France: Rolle, Marsanne, Roussane, Picpoul, Ugni Blanc, Grenache Blanc “Gold vs. Sunshine”: Comparing Florida whites to the most famous white wines in the world: The Burgundy’s of the Cote d’Or “Popping the bubble:” Can the Cremant’s de-throne the King of the Bubbles: Bourgogne, Loire, Alsace, Bordeaux, Limoux vs. Champagne “Sauve and Yonder” : Sauvignon Blanc from different regions in France

Again, there is limited walk in space, so if you don’t want to miss out you should RSVP, Maude @ Wine & Cheese 113 N Main St, Gainesville, FL 32601 or call (352) 222-1348.
